Denim Players Showcase INNOVATIONS At Kingpins24


Denim players across the supply chain presented the innovations and projects being developed for Spring/Summer ’22, at the recent Kingpins show, where the key focus of most denim technology providers was Sustainability in addition with a renewed focus on the Practicality & Function of Garments and in How They Are Made.

1 Tonello lined with Piero Turk The Laundry (R) Evolution (Representing a collection of denim garments) — This denim garments finishing process consists of 2 technologies: Laser Finishing Machines & Tonello’s water-saving washing operation, the All-in-One System.
2 Artistic Milliners powered by G2 Dynamic Ozone Technology by Jeanologia Crystal Clear 3.0 (Representing New Collection “Reflection” including 8 fabrics made with Tencel Refibra) ­­­­— A process reducing 80% of water consumption as a combined wet process. It is a success of Crystal Clear indigo dye technology, introduced in 2017, with brand partner G-Star Raw.
3 Lycra Anti-Slip Fiber —  A denim seam slippage solution for applications in single-core spandex fabrics requiring durable stretch & good recovery power, which can be combined with Lycra’s existing technologies such as : Lycra DualFX technology & Lycra T400 fiber.
4 DNM Denim Shape N Relax — A new performance denim concept, made of triple core stretch yarn, as an “intelligent” fabric to provide extra support to tension areas while expanding and a perfect but comfortable fit, available in various weights & constructions.
5 Calik Denim E-Denim — A  patent pending technology which allows the mill to increase its total recycled content rate to 50% in stretch fabrics & 80-100% percent in rigid product groups, without compromising the quality & strength of the yarn by wrapping recycled core yarn with recycled cotton & recycled Tencel.
6 Soorty Re-Sync —   A one-size-fits-all technology allowing jeans to adapt to the wearer’s body with a 360-degree stretch comfort, enabling the garments to “perform well” 2 sizes up & 2 sizes down.
7 Vicunha Center The new V. Tech Protective collection — Offering denim & twill fabrics with antimicrobial and antiviral, antimicrobial and repellent properties suitable for clothing, masks and other protective items.
