C&A appoints two new members of European Management Team

C&A Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members of the European Management Team. Suzanne McKenna takes over the role as Chief Range and Sustainability Officer from 1 April 2022. Jason Morgan will join the European Management Team as Chief Operating Officer (COO) as of 15 April 2022.

“I am pleased to welcome Suzanne and Jason to C&A Europe. I am confident their leadership and expertise will contribute substantially to elevating our business to the next level,” says Giny Boer, CEO of C&A Europe. While Suzanne will fill the position formerly known as “Chief Merchandise and Sustainability Officer”, the board position of COO has been newly created to better align diverse responsibilities within the leadership team.

In her new role, Suzanne will be responsible for C&A’s product portfolio as well as all matters concerning questions of sustainability. Based at C&A’s EU Hub Dusseldorf, she will supervise the modernization of the fashion company’s collection as well as the sustainability of its business model.

Suzanne is deeply rooted in fashion retail. She started her career as Marketing Manager at Levi’s UK/Ireland, followed by various positions in the company including her role as EU Merchandise Director. Following her time at Levi’s, Suzanne took over the role of Global Head of Brand at Swiss underwear manufacturer Triumph and most recently Global Managing Director at shoe manufacturer Clarks.

Jason Morgan

In the newly created COO position, Jason will oversee all operational aspects of C&A Europe, including planning, allocation, supply chain and logistics. He will assume an integrating role, connecting departments such as range, finance, selling as well as consumer & digital. Jason will ensure a strong operations performance, enabling C&A Europe to realize its full potential as a leading European omnichannel retailer.

Jason Morgan has an extensive and multi-faceted background in and deep knowledge of the fashion and retail industries. His experience ranges from leadership positions at various brands such as Gap, Burberry, and Coach, where he served as Vice President of Merchandise, Planning and Allocation, to his previous position as Senior Vice President of Global Merchandising for Pandora.
