The startup was founded in 2019 by Reiner Mantsch and Steffen Gerlach to protect our planet’s limited resources. Meanwhile, EEDEN has received initial funding, which they use to develop their technology further. This development is the responsibility of Reiner Mantsch’s team, who came up with the idea for EEDEN during his textile technology studies. His co-founder Steffen Gerlach studied business administration in Hamburg and worked in various roles such as project management, sales, and change management. At EEDEN, he is responsible for the company’s finances and business model.
