The Greener Manufacturing Show – Europe’s leading event for environmental and sustainable manufacturing solutions! EEDEN will be found in Hall 10.1 at the BIO.NRW joint stand.

EEDEN allows your old textiles to be turned into new high-quality clothing. For this purpose, EEDEN is developing a green-chemical upcycling process that transforms end-of-life textiles into a resource for existing fiber production. With their chemical upcycling process, they recycle cotton-containing clothing again and again – without any loss of quality. Thus, old jeans can be turned into a new one.

Their mission is to accelerate the implementation of the circular economy in the apparel industry. With their help, brands can significantly reduce their dependence on limited natural resources.

Founders of EEDEN: Steffen Gerlach and Reiner Mantsch

The startup was founded in 2019 by Reiner Mantsch and Steffen Gerlach to protect our planet’s limited resources. Meanwhile, EEDEN has received initial funding, which they use to develop their technology further. This development is the responsibility of Reiner Mantsch’s team, who came up with the idea for EEDEN during his textile technology studies. His co-founder Steffen Gerlach studied business administration in Hamburg and worked in various roles such as project management, sales, and change management. At EEDEN, he is responsible for the company’s finances and business model.

The Greener Manufacturing Show is the must-attend event for any sustainability-focused company looking to design and manufacture their products from more sustainable materials, limit and eliminate the use of toxic chemicals, and reduce the impact of their industrial and manufacturing processes on the environment and global climate change. Source the latest technologies and solutions, and find new partners to help achieve all your sustainability targets.

There is even another good reason to stop by: Plastic Waste Free World Conference & Expo Europe will take place in the same hall, offering an entire conference stream for fashion & textiles.
