About Positex:

Positex Private Limited, a pioneer in fabric & fashion since 2005. Our headquarters is in New Delhi and we have seen offices across India. In February, we inaugurated an office in Dhaka to cater to the Bangladesh market, adhering to our company motto of delivering quality and quantity on time, every time.

Our vision is to establish a robust activewear industry in India, traditionally dominated by China and Vietnam. We aim to shift the focus to India, providing comprehensive solutions locally. Central to our mission is the belief that quality sportswear contributes to a healthier society. To realize this vision, we have meticulously developed a complete manufacturing industry over the past five years, covering yarn, knitting, dyeing, and finishing processes, reducing import dependence by nearly 90%.

Focusing Bangladesh Market:

Presently, we aim to extend our services and support to Bangladeshi manufacturers, offering new solutions and a fresh sourcing platform for global brands. Leveraging our Speed Inventory Model (SIM), we address two primary challenges, notably the inventory crisis exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our SIM model reduces the inventory buying cycle by almost 43%, facilitated by our ready stock of fabric, comprising over 800 options available for buyers with zero minimum quantity and lead time. This approach streamlines inventory cycles and reduces lead times, favoring the entire value chain.

Our strength:

Through our SIM model, Positex maintains a wide range of fabrics suitable for the activewear category, ensuring regular availability to our customers. By transitioning from a six-month seasonal planning cycle to a monthly requirement model, we empower startups and buyers alike to procure as needed, mitigating excessive bulk orders.

Positex adopts a focused approach, embodying the “one inch wide and one foot deep” strategy, honing in on niche markets where we excel in product depth and address efficiency, cost, and timeline challenges effectively.

Given the evolving geopolitical landscape, buyers seek to diversify sourcing and reduce dependence on specific countries. Positex plays a pivotal role in pioneering this supply chain model in India, offering new solutions for the entire Indian subcontinent, thereby reducing lead times compared to imports from other countries.
