Pangaia, a materials science startup, will introduce a line of clothing dyed with a variety of colored powders made from repurposed textile fibers.
Recycrom dyestuffs, which were introduced in 2015 by the Italian business Officina+39, are made from pulverized dyed cotton textiles that are combined and applied to textiles using specialized resins and adhesives.
Pangaia had already pledged to become net zero in its own operations by 2025 and across its whole supply chain by 2040 as part of its bid to build an ‘Earth positive economic model’.
