E commerce Giant Amazon introduced new sustainable Denim Segment


Amazon Aware is a new range of sustainable items launched by the e-commerce giant Amazon in March. Apparel, as well as home and cosmetic goods, are available.

These “daily staples” are “thoughtfully designed and constructed from materials such as recycled polyester, organic cotton, and bio-based components,” according to the Seattle-based business.

The complete line of goods is certified by third parties, such as the Organic Content Standard 100 and Global Recycle Standard, both of which are controlled by the Textile Exchange in the United States, or the HIGG Index Materials Seal. They’re also considered to be climate-neutral since the corporation has “accounted for or neutralized” emissions using carbon credits. Climate Partner, a German firm, has been charged with assessing each product’s carbon impact using the GHG protocol.

Amazon Aware is offered to consumers in North America and Europe and is part of Amazon’s efforts to become carbon-neutral by 2040, ten years ahead of the Paris Agreement, according to the business.
