Dutch multi-stakeholder initiative the Denim Deal, which last year launched with the backing of 30 leading companies, has partnered with blockchain technology provider The Movement.

The tie-up will afford members of the initial access to The Movement’s ‘Aware’ blockchain solution in a bid to boost supply chain transparency. The Denim Deal was established in November of last year and has tasked the likes of Mud Jeans, Scotch & Soda, and Kuyichi with using at least 5% recycled content in every pair of jeans produced and to collectively create upwards of one million pairs of jeans with 20 % post-consumer recycled content each year.
