Uninterrupted quality gas supply need on upcoming budget

Uninterrupted quality gas supply need on upcoming budgetIndustrialization is a major reason for the economic development of a country. It plays a significant role in transforming the monetary structure of developing nations

The present situation has emanated from not taking the correct initiative on time. Demand for fuel was not appropriately projected. Coordinated initiatives for oil and gas exploration could not be taken over the past 15 years. Not connecting the Bhola gas field to the national grid after the discovery was also a failure. Bangladesh must also change the strategy of its own coal resource exploitation on a priority basis. I do not think that Bangladesh can get out of its present crisis without exploiting its own coal and expediting its own petroleum resource exploration. At the same time, renewable energy and cross-border energy trading must also get priority attention.

Textile industry is a major contributor to the economic growth of any country. The contribution of gas as fuel to keep the wheel of this economy moving is immense. Gas is the cleanest and most economical fuel used in a variety of applications such as dyeing, bleaching, drying, singing and heat-setting. Singing is done by passing the yarn/ fabric over a gas flame to burn the protruding material.

Gas is an economical fuel in the textile industry. Different types of gas are used as fuel in the textile industry such as nitrogen gas, oxygen gas, sulphur dioxide gas, oxide of nitrogen gas etc. Nitrogen gas and oxygen scavengers are used to fade and color change in dyed textiles. Nitrogen gas has flown under the radar in its benefits to textile production and processes. Nitrogen is one of the most sought-after chemical molecules in many industrial manufacturing processes. Due to its inert nature, this gas is widely used in textile factories.

As an entrepreneur on the upcoming budget, the government needs to ensure a smooth supply of energy and facilities to the all industrial sector .
