Mexico’s denim apparel exports to the US totaled US $ 286.28 million in H1 ’21, representing a 54.80% year-on-year increase, while Bangladesh’s shipment totaled US $ 283.65 million, representing a 49.25% year-on-year increase.
Bangladesh was followed by Vietnam, which sent US $ 151.06 million in denim apparel to the US while increasing its value by just 5.22 percent year on year. Another nation that emerged successful was Pakistan, which surpassed China to take fourth place in the tally, moving up one position due to a large increase in its denim shipping value in the US market. Pakistan’s shipment was valued at $150.97 million, a 50% rise, and the nation remained marginally ahead of China, which might reach a number of $148.91 million in its respective denim apparel exports to the US in H1 ’21.
