The TENCEL™ brand joins forces with Aimer to inspire a carbon-zero future for the fashion industryOne of the leading lingerie brands in the Chinese market, Aimer, transforms high-quality materials into undergarments fusing eastern and western influences. Since the brand’s launch in 1993, Aimer has expanded internationally to offer a full range of textile products from intimates, shapewear to swimwear for women, men and kids.

Now, Aimer is advocating for environmental protection by employing sustainable materials for its collections and has joined forces with the TENCEL™ brand. Discovering the benefits of carbon-zero TENCEL™ branded fibers, Aimer has launched a children’s and men’s collection this summer featuring this sustainable fiber and its eco-credentials. The eco-collection, labelled AIMER RENEW, encourages consumers to live a low carbon lifestyle by purchasing apparel that better protects the environment.

Fabrics produced using carbon-zero TENCEL™ branded fibers can offer a new level of sustainable transparency to consumers with a third-party verified label, and are botanic in origin and fully biodegradable. In addition to their high environmental value, the fibers also feature the functional benefits of standard TENCEL™ branded fibers including gentleness on the skin, long-lasting softness, silky smoothness, enhanced breathability, and color retention, making them the perfect choice for the all-new AIMER RENEW collection.

United by a shared vision to inspire consumers to act sustainably, the TENCEL™ brand and Aimer kicked off the collaboration with a “carbon zero journey” launch event attended by two China KOLs – Olivia•花 and Synuanyang (十圆暖阳). Two pop-up stores in China were set up to promote environmental responsibility in fashion and prompt consumers to act for a sustainable future. Located in Wuhan and Zhengzhou, each pop-up store was open for two weeks featuring a zero-carbon installation at the gate to deliver key brand messages and concept of carbon neutrality to all people. Visitors were encouraged to take pictures and post them on social media, and those who joined in the games at the pop-up stores, were rewarded with TENCEL™ X AIMER RENEW eco-bags.

Once again, the TENCEL™ brand is delighted to engage with likeminded partners like Aimer to increase brand awareness and further promote carbon-zero TENCEL™ branded fibers to value chain partners and retailers.
