Desk Report: Shovon Islam, Managing Director, Sparrow Group nominated as the Chairman of the BGMEA’s Standing Committee on Press and Publicity for the year 2022-2023.
Faruque Hassan, President, BGMEA signed a mandate for the Standing Committee on Press and Publicity under the leadership of Shovon Islam for the year 2022-2023.
Shovon Islam has more than 20 years of extensive experience in the textile and apparel industry of Bangladesh. He was also honored as a member of the FBCCI standing committee on the RMG industry. Recently he was honored as CIP for export and trade.
Sparrow Group is one of the pioneers in Garments Manufacturing in Bangladesh. Sparrow was founded in 1984 by Professor Dr. Mahzharul Islam, Professor Dr. Mahzharul Islam was an eminent educationist and organizer of the Liberation war of Bangladesh.
