In a significant step toward accelerating digital transformation in Bangladesh’s apparel and manufacturing sectors, a high-level AI & Automation Innovation Event was held in Dhaka, bringing together global technology leaders and key industry stakeholders. The event was jointly hosted by Centric Software, a global leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, and US-based technology firm Zukunu Inc., the Innovation Partner.
The gathering saw participation from leading manufacturing groups, including Hameem Group, Majumdar Group, SQ Group, MAS Holdings, Azim and Sons and Knit Concern Group, among others. Industry leaders engaged in in-depth discussions on the role of artificial intelligence, automation, and data-driven decision-making in reshaping supply chains and manufacturing operations.
Representing Zukunu Inc., Founder and Chief Business Officer Syed Rifath Noweid Hussain and Chief Executive Officer Srajan Kumar Saxena highlighted the growing importance of data optimisation, historical trend analysis, and AI-driven supply chain intelligence in the apparel sector. They emphasised that effective use of data can significantly enhance operational efficiency while reducing waste across manufacturing processes.
From Centric Software, Senior Director Nicholas Wei Yick Don shared insights into how global brands and manufacturers are leveraging PLM and AI-powered solutions to
accelerate time-to-market, improve cost control, and enhance supply chain transparency. Industry observers note that such initiatives are critical in strengthening Bangladesh’s position in the global manufacturing landscape.
