Desk Report: Dongyi Sourcing Ltd (DSL), one of Bangladesh’s largest multinational apparel sourcing hubs, organized a grand Eid reunion and employee recognition ceremony at a hotel in the capital. The event saw the presence of 142 DSL family members, including high-ranking officials and employees.
Among the notable personalities attending the ceremony were Mofazzal Hossain Pavel, the Managing Director of DSL, Paritosh Chandra Das, Director of DSL, and Sunil Brahmbhatt, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of DSL. The event was beautifully hosted by Mr. Sohanur Rahman, Senior Manager-Admin & HR.
During the ceremony, Mofazzal Hossain Pavel, the Managing Director of DSL, expressed his admiration for the dynamic, talented, and experienced team working at DSL, along with their excellent office infrastructure, encompassing fabric sourcing, garment technology, and compliance. He shared that DSL’s business volume has significantly grown, reaching 39 million from the previous 6 million last year.
Mr. Pavel further added, “We currently have 28 business partners, and our product range is continuously expanding. Our vision is to contribute to Bangladesh by exporting $100 million worth of business through Dongyi Sourcing Ltd by 2025. To achieve this goal, we are actively working on diversifying our export destinations and product lines.”
During the reunion program, DSL honored outstanding employees with prestigious awards, recognizing their exemplary performance. The awards included “Best of the Month,” “MD Recognition,” and special prizes such as Dhaka-Coxbazar family air tickets, Dhaka-Bangkok family air tickets, and lucrative gifts.
