Prada has unveiled a new denim collection made entirely of GOTS certified cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard) and produced with less water and energy to ensure that each piece is of the highest quality.
Denim shorts, dresses, coats, trousers, and a bra bralette are all part of the collection. All organic denim pieces have been mildly frayed and faded, and adorned with the black enamel Prada emblem, which has become a more important component of the brand’s visual identity since Raf Simons took over as creative director from Miuccia Prada. Organic cotton is sourced from farms that have minimal environmental impact and is free of pesticides and fertilizers. It saves 10 liters of water every meter of fabric on average. These characteristics contribute to the brand’s EIM (environmental impact measurement), which has become more significant for businesses.
