A new chapter in sustainable denim innovation has begun with the inauguration of @ND Denim, a research and development (R&D) centre dedicated to creating next-generation denim solutions.

The event showcased @ND Denim’s vision to lead the global denim industry toward sustainability, while fostering innovation and knowledge sharing among future textile professionals.
Dr. Md. Saifur Rahman, Former Professor of Textile Engineering at Daffodil International University and Former Head of the Department of Textile Engineering at City University, attended as the main guest. Other distinguished guests included Engr. Md. Arifuzzaman, Associate Professor at City University, and Engr. Shohag Sen, General Manager of Denim Solutions Ltd. The ceremony was hosted by Engr. Pallabi Ray Nipa, Textile Engineer and Executive Director of @ND Denim, and Engr. Ashish Roy, CEO & Managing Director of @ND Denim.

Ashish Roy emphasized that @ND Denim aims to be “an R&D centre dedicated to sustainable denim development and a platform to inspire the next generation of textile engineers.” He also highlighted the company’s commitment to bridging industry-academia collaboration by engaging students from City University and Daffodil International University.
Industry representatives from Pioneer Group and Tom Tailor also joined the celebration, marking the significance of this new centre in shaping the future of eco-friendly denim.
With a mission to redefine denim manufacturing, @ND Denim seeks to introduce cutting-edge sustainable practices while spreading awareness of responsible innovation in the textile industry.
