At present the challenge is our utility resources and increasing day to day cost. Besides the external challenge is reducing day to day buyer cost and demand as well as we reduce competitiveness. After the year of 2026 our GSP will reduce and then the price will reduce 12%. So, we should ready for this and we expect to balance this unwanted situation from the government support in gas and electricity. We should change our strategy in green energy supply also. Here we can receive government green fund that definitely help us to invest. We should reduce cost in small amount from every sector. Waste reduction is the great example of reduce cost in industry. We believe if we can maintain the proper use of waste management then we can reduce 3-4% production cost in manufacturing. But it also depends on the culture of company. Besides we should represent us to the buyer in competitiveness and quality assurance way for proper bargaining.

When we started the green factory, at that time the buyer was not concerned so much for the green industry. But now a day they want this type of industry a lot and for these we receive more orders comparing that time. They use the green industry and sustainability tag in their product as an eco-garment. But unfortunately, we cannot receive benefits in price wise. Government and Bangladesh banks also provide benefits for the green industry in some cases. In the green industry area, all materials and goods are sustainable. In a green factory concern about carbon emissions, reduce sound pollution, check water solution, check water treatment plants, reduces electricity use, and ensures human health safety and security. Overall Bangladesh has more than 200 green factories running and approximately 400-500 factories are preparing their infrastructure in the green segment.

As the target of export in 100 billion dollars in 2030 from the Bangladesh government, we already have started the export process in industry to reach the goal. Besides continuously we are increasing the export rate and BGBA plays a vital role in this sector. They are trying to order placement from new customers worldwide and try to support in total revenue in Bangladesh. On the other hand, for reaching a 100-billion-dollar goal, we should take care of various things and BGBA already works on this like business diversification, works on new innovation etc. We already discussed with the government about flexible banking facilities for industry including cash incentives. For increasing yearly turnover, we should increase diversified product manufacturing in our country, that’s why we don’t loss our order and receive all facilities.  Furthermore, we should make the port and Customs area easier for delivering samples, accessories and other garments Fastly from the government. If we get this, then we can get benefits and earn more revenue easily for manufacturing and other areas.
