The LYCRA Company to Return to Kingpins Amsterdam from October 14

The LYCRA Company will return to Kingpins Amsterdam on October 14–15, 2026, showcasing its latest innovations in denim stretch technology, adaptive fit and sustainable fibre solutions.

Among the key technologies on display will be LYCRA ADAPTIV fibre, a patent-pending polymer designed to adjust to the wearer’s functional needs. The innovative fibre adapts its holding force when the wearer is at rest to deliver fit, shape and control, while adjusting its elasticity during movement to provide enhanced comfort and a second-skin effect that helps garments stay in place.

The technology enables brands and retailers to develop jeans that accommodate different body shapes and genders, offering consumers greater freedom of movement and a comfortable, easy-stretch wearing experience.

As demand for durable clothing continues to grow among consumers seeking to reduce their environmental footprint, The LYCRA Company will also highlight its LYCRA XTRA LIFE brand elastane fibres, designed to deliver long-lasting comfort, fit and performance in stretch denim.

The portfolio includes LYCRA DUAL COMFORT technology, LYCRA Anti-Slip fibre, LYCRA TOUGH MAX technology, LYCRA dualFX technology and LYCRA T400 EcoMade fibre, which incorporates recycled and renewable materials. These solutions aim to help denim manufacturers develop products that combine durability, comfort and performance.

The company will further showcase sustainable fibre technologies, including COOLMAX EcoMade technology for moisture-wicking cooling comfort and THERMOLITE EcoMade technology for lightweight warmth.

According to the company, these technologies incorporate fibres made from either 100% recycled textile waste or 100% recycled PET bottles, supporting efforts to improve resource efficiency and advance circularity within the textile and apparel industry.

Through its participation at Kingpins Amsterdam, The LYCRA Company aims to demonstrate how advanced fibre technologies can help denim brands address changing consumer expectations for comfort, fit, durability and more sustainable apparel.

Kingpins Amsterdam, scheduled for October 14–15, will bring together denim industry stakeholders to explore new materials, technologies and developments shaping the future of the global denim sector.
