JEANOLOGIA ELEVATES DENIM TO ARTISANAL EXCELLENCE WITH “DENIM MÉTIERS”

Laser as fashion’s new needle: technical precision, artistic emotion, and sustainability What happens when a workwear fabric like denim meets the savoir-faire of couture? The answer is “Denim Métiers”, the new proposal by Jeanologia, the Spanish company that for 30 years has led the transformation of the denim industry with technologies that save millions of liters of water, eliminate toxic chemicals, and have changed the way jeans are made. Present in more than 70 countries and responsible for ensuring that 45% of the world’s denim production is made with its technologies, Jeanologia has gone from being a workwear benchmark to becoming a true creative laboratory for fashion, proving that sustainability can also be a driver of creativity. Laser as the catalyst for a new creative era Until now, laser technology in denim was associated with workwear processes and vintage effects. Jeanologia elevates it to a new aesthetic, creative and technical dimension, proving that a single technology can meet all styles, production needs and the highest demands of the industry. “We want to break the traditional cliches of laser and show its true essence: a living, emotional tool with an artistic soul, capable of adapting to every brand, every designer, every challenge,” says Carme Santacruz, Jeanologia’s Creative Director. From the authenticity of true vintage to the sophistication of couture garments, passing through hyper-realistic effects, textures and designs that cross aesthetic and technical boundaries, Jeanologia’s laser becomes the catalyst for a new creative era in denim. “Denim Métiers. Vol.1. The Laser Atelier”: the dialogue between denim and haute couture The first chapter of this project, “The Laser Atelier”, is a statement of intent:
  • Couture-inspired straight dresses in black and indigo denim, carved with melting flowers, fused floral motifs that mimic lace and reveal delicate layers of organza in tan, ochre and baby blue.
  • Corsetry reinterpreted in a contemporary way, with effects imitating wool and sun-faded gradients, crafted with unprecedented technical precision never before seen in denim.
  • Unprecedented textures and transparencies, achieved through BMP files and complex vectors that transform the laser into a true “needle of light.”
The result is a new language for denim, merging its raw, workwear essence with the sophistication and technique of haute couture. The Techno-Métiers: innovation with an artistic soul “Denim Métiers” inaugurates an open and evolving format, where each capsule will explore new narratives and techniques, always with the same purpose: to fuse innovation, tradition, and respect for the planet. Jeanologia defines this movement as the birth of the ‘Techno-Métiers, a creative lineage where technology is not just a tool, it is emotion, it is language. It invites designers, brands, suppliers, and creative minds to join this new way of “making fashion”, rethinking denim as a creative territory and a shared language between tradition and technology. “With Denim Métiers we officially launch our creative lab, but innovation has been at the heart of Jeanologia since 1994, it’s part of who we are and how we work. Our innovation isn’t just about advancing techniques; it’s about creating a meaningful impact that helps others and moves our industry forward. This project embodies that collaborative spirit, opening a new chapter where creativity, technology and shared knowledge redefine the future of denim,” says Carme Santacruz. “Denim stops being functional to become an unlimited field of experimentation. The future of denim is not in nostalgia, but in its ability to transform while staying true to its conscious, rebellious soul,” concludes Jeanologia’s Creative Director.
